The summer program for children is OUTERSPACE Lots of fun and entertainment for Adults and Children is in the works at the Kingston Public Library this summer.  We hope you will join us for one, two, or all the events planned.
 
The Summer Program for children is OUTERSPACE and is scheduled every fun Wednesday starting at 1:00 pm beginning on June 25 and continuing on July 9, 16, and 19.  Storyteller Elizabeth Rose; Magnificent Magician Ron Mayhew; and Dr. David Fields, Astronomer from Roane State Community College (RSCC) will be guest speakers.  Kids, parents and Library personnel will travel to the RSCC Observatory on July 19 for night-time telescope viewing.  Along with space food, awesome space crafts and games will provide fun for all.  There is no charge for this program. 

Every Wednesday at 11:00 we have a Children's Story hour for little ones to 5 years of age are welcome to enjoy Ms. Barbara's fun story reading and crafts.
 
For ages 11-17 this year's program is all about the Weather.  This program begins at 1 p.m. on July 21 and continues through July 25.  On the last day, there will be an opportunity to do a weather report and be recorded on video.  Speakers from the University of Tennessee, WBIR Channel 10, and the National Weather Center will provide lots of information.  Please call to sign up for this program.
 
We hope children of all ages have the opportunity this summer to learn, enjoy, and be amazed by everything the Kingston Public Library has to offer.  Please join us.
