HARRIMAN FIRE DEPARTMENT RECEIVES RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS AWARD
Roane County, Tennessee – Harriman Fire Department was presented with a Responsible Business Award by the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition (RCADC) on Monday, May 13, 2024. Chief Brad Daniels and Assistant Chief Jon Johnson, accompanied by the willing efforts of all HFD firefighters, have always been engaged and supportive of RCADC’s mission. HFD has assisted in several prevention-focused events, such as Prom Promise, National Night Out, International Overdose Awareness Day and Operation Dry Water. RCADC is especially appreciative of HFD’s many efforts on the education and prevention of substance misuse in Harriman.
RCADC grants the Responsible Business Award to community partners who have made a large impact on substance misuse prevention efforts. Previous winners include Kingston Police Department, CVS Pharmacy, Baggett Pharmacy, House of Tobacco & Beverage (Rockwood), Taylor Motor Company, Caney Creek Marina, Harriman Gardens, Eddie’s Body Shop and Walgreens (Harriman).
