Our commitment
The Roane Alliance will do everything it can to ensure that people with disabilities can access our website, documents, programs, and services. We are committed to removing barriers and providing effective communication and reasonable accommodations for anyone who needs them.
Our accessibility goal is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are reviewing and improving our content against this standard. A complete conformance evaluation, including assistive-technology testing and document review, has not yet been completed; we do not currently claim that every page, PDF, or third-party service fully conforms.
Website and document access
Our accessibility work includes keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, meaningful headings and labels, text alternatives for informative images, readable color contrast, and accessible forms. We also work toward accessible PDF documents and captions and other appropriate alternatives for audio and video.
Known document limitations include the bylaws PDF, which is image-based and lacks accessible text and document structure, and an older incentives PDF that lacks document structure. Other documents and videos still require a full accessibility review. If you cannot access a document or other content, contact our office. We will work with you to provide the information in an accessible format or another effective way that meets your needs. Requesting help does not require sharing a diagnosis.

Tell us which page or document you need, the difficulty you encountered, your preferred format or accommodation, and how you would like us to respond. If your request is time-sensitive, please let us know.
